In Visual Studio, how do I pass arguments in debug to a console program?

  1. Go to your project properties, either by right-clicking on the project and picking "Properties" or by picking Properties from the Project menu.

  2. Click on Debug, then enter your arguments into the "Script Arguments" field.

  3. Save.

OK, I'm confused. I don't see a 'Script Arguments" field. I do see a "Command line arguments:" field.

(I'm looking at a Properties page for a C# Console Application. I also tried the page for a database project, but that didn't have a "Script Arguments" field either.)

Also, if your projects has one, you can double -click the "Properties" folder of the project to get to this page. 12/1/2017 12:32 PM | James Curran
