Lance's TextBox

Check out this popular forum, pick any post - and scroll down to the end of the readable text.  There you'll find hidden text on the page - full of nothing but development terms.  I'm not talking about actual useful content here, but just mumbo jumbo designed for one purpose.  This is nothing new, but I'm used to seeing this kind of low-life hackery on less respectable sites.  This kinda makes me angry.

Update: This invisible text has been removed, and was reportedly just a temporary test.  This is good to hear, and I'm not surprised that there is a good explanation.

The "invisible text to juice up search results" that you refer to was actually a statistical test we conducted for a short period to figure out some google adsense stuff. The test is finished. It had nothing at all to do with "juicing up" search results.
