About Me:
I am a Female SharePoint Developer (a platinum unicorn). I have been working with SharePoint since I attended the Portal University in 2005. I hold a BA in Computer Science from the University of Missouri - Kansas City. I love playing Rockband, organizing user group meetings, working with code, attending events as a speaker or organizer, and having bizarre conversations about geek things with cool people. If you have any comments or questions fill out the contact form and I will try my best to help.

The Guide of a MOSSLover Becky Isserman's Blog

I am sorry for the lack of blog love.  I am going to try very hard to post something awesome once a week.  I have a couple birthdays upcoming, including my friend Leah's and my boyfriend Johnny's.  I also have a Silverlight Presentation at the St. Louis .Net User Group on October 27th, then the Kansas City Office Geeks will be meeting on November 6th with a presentation on SharePoint Updates by JD Wade.  In between I believe I am going to try and give a how to write a custom wildcard search in SharePoint talk at the Raleigh Code Camp.  Then there is the Day of Dot Net planning fun times (thank you Lee and Clint for getting this together).  That takes us to about Chanukah time and my 5th anniversary with my boyfriend.  It's a pretty busy time and I need to write 2.5 more book chapters.  One of which I have outlined and need to crack down and write in the next few days (really hard writing stuff high level as a dev).  I told you guys I was going to post something insightful once a week, so here here is a SharePoint Tip:

So today I was working with a web part debugging it.  I see this error message that tells me I cannot access "Microsoft.SharePoint.Security.SharePointPermission".  It turns out this is a Code Access Security Error and if you see this message you need to go into your web .config file and set the trust level to "Full".

On a side note, Saturday in the afternoon/morning Becky finally gets here IPhone.  Aside from doing other random things she will be downloading tons of applications and buying pretty cases and other accessories.  Anyway have a nice night guys...
