Still working on some Spec# posts right now, but in the mean time, here's something I meant to send out a while ago.

Throughout my career, many people have asked which tools I take from project to project.  There have been plenty of tools that seemed cool, worked for a little bit then I moved onto something else.  Being in the ALT.NET mindset, I have a wide array of tools that I will bring whether they be from Microsoft or the developer community as a whole.  I'll categorize each set of tools per type.  Since I mostly do .NET at this point, I'll list those.

Note that this will be a growing list and constantly updated.  Note that I don't bring all of these tools to all of my engagements and I use the right tool for the right job.  These just work for me.

Productivity Tools
Unit Testing/Integration Testing/Behavior Testing
Build
Integration
Debugging/Analysis
Metrics
IoC Containers
ORM
BizTalk
SharePoint
Let me know of anything that I missed.  Got any more I need to add? Posted on Friday, December 7, 2007 2:45 PM Microsoft , Free Tools , C# , Test Driven Development | Back to top

I also forgot about Reflector! Reflector is going to be less useful when they get the Code Servers up and running for VS 2008 though.
