Tangible Thoughts SharePoint, MOSS? and all the other questions
It looks like somebody forgot to turn on anonymous access at MSN.
Whenever I go to msn.com or hotmail I get prompted to login to global.msads.net.

Heres a quick hack - if you just say cancel - some of the adds will not be on the page - duuh!!!

Look at your HOSTS file. Some antivirus, antispyware, anti... etc, puts there a lot of known addresses that serves banners and popups, and redir to 127.0.0.1.

Hi,

Are you running IIS on your machine? If so:

1) Go to the Internet Services Manager (Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Internet Services Manager)

2) Right click on "Default Web Site" and select "Properties"

3) Go to the tab labeled "Directory Security"

4) Under "Anonymous Access and Authentication Control", click "Edit".

5) Make sure that the "Anonymous Access" checkbox is selected.

6) Press OK. Press OK.

OK.

Does that help?
