Tangible Thoughts SharePoint, MOSS? and all the other questions

Navigo who provided the free SharePoint explorer tool also provide a product called ONTOLICA that provides a series of webparts that provide more extensive search capabilities for SharePoint.

Ontolica Search Features

  • Support for all standard search features
  • Intuitive SearchAssistant
  • AND / OR / NOT support
  • Wildcard (*) search
  • Configurable search properties
  • Context sensitive search properties
  • Custom properties in the search result.
  • Respects the SharePoint security model
  • Personalization
  • Reusable Web Parts
  • ONTOLICA® KnowledgeBase integration

What caught my eye is “Wildcard (*) search, which everybody by default assumes is present but is disappointed when they discover is lacking.

The URL in the article doesn't work anymore. Is there a different location where I can download the tool?

Categorizing is the best search enhancement you can have! The SharePartXXL Taxonomy Extension for Microsoft® SharePoint® enables documents and list items in a SharePoint-based portal to be organized cross-site as part of a connected content network and knowledge model. SharePoint items are associated by category using one or more custom taxonomies. Users can organize documents and other portal contents in the way that they think and work - independend of the storage location.

Please check it out,
