D3/D300 on DPreview
It isnt April 1st right? I mean its too late now for an April's fool gag eh? 2 articles on DPReview make me feel that it is not. They have 2 articles preview the Nikon D3 and the D300 Whoopie. I foresee another couple of camera bodies comming out in 6 months to a years time as replacements to the D80 and D40 with ......

VS2005 Web Debugging in Vista
Had issues debugging a web application on Vista, it kept complaining that Integrated Authentication was necessary. So goggled around and came across this post on Rick's Strahl's blog, and decided to install VS2005 SP1. The VS2005 SP1 setup experience in my case was horrible. it ended up being a memory hog brought the machine down to near halt, and that was just the setup initialization. I would advise folks to run the setup overnight if all they got is 1GB of Ram on their Vista boxes/notebook. So ......

PNG Transparency in IE 6
Fortunately if you are dealing with IE7 or anything other than IE6 you wont have to deal with this issue, and most of you web developers probably already know about this solution to make pngs transparent for IE6 I also came across this javascript to embed an png on to a page, and it would render the appropriate tag to display it according to the browser. tags: IE 6, PNG, Transparency Cross-posted from tariqayad.com ......
