-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Earlier this week, there was some concern that the previous topic was too advanced. So after discussing it with the presenter and most of the people who had already registered for the meeting, we decided to make a last minute change and have a more basic session about SharePoint.

Instead of the Business Data Catalog (a feature only available in the Enterprise version of SharePoint), Ryan Oliveira from Solutia Consulting will instead introduce us to the possibilities of developing in SharePoint.

This session will be geared towards developers who are new to SharePoint development, and are intersted in learning more about what is possible when developing on that platform.

We will be posting more information on the site as it becomes available, and be sure to check the site in case of bad weather on Thursday.

Ryan is a SharePoint Service Line Manager and evangelist at Solutia Consulting in Stillwater, MN. His current focus is building collaborative communities on the MOSS/WSS platform for customers in the Twin Cities and Western Wisconsin. Ryan's background includes over 13 years of building solutions in technologies including VB, C#, and Java for companies in the US and Canada. When not at work, he enjoys playing hockey and lives in Elk River, MN with his beautiful wife Julia and children Will (4) and Kate (1).

To register, log into the site and use the following link and look for the registration link directly under the description of the meeting.
