I’ve just posted an article on Modular Deployment of BizTalk Server projects. I’m using it at the moment in my current project, and it seems to work fine.

Also, I picked up Scott’s book, and am about half way through it. It’s good to be able to fill in the gaps in my knowledge, and looks like a great intro to the product. It does not cover that many advanced topics, with the exception of creating custom adapters, but I guess it would have to be double the size to cover everything in any great detail.

Defiantly worth picking up a copy if you work or play with BizTalk. Posted on Wednesday, December 29, 2004 2:09 PM | Back to top

We've come to a similar deployment model after doing some project for larger (=more organized) customers. The only exception if I can call it like that is the fact that we include internal schemas (and with this I understand are schemas only used within the orchestrations) nd internal maps with our orchestrations.
Pipelines and maps are often related to 'normalizing' data that is coming from 3rd parties and have then another life cycle than the internal business process and it's related maps and schemas.
