Scorecards for support and opposition to the FairTax are now online for both the House of Representatives and the Senate.

While most (not all) opposition to the FairTax is either misinformed or misrepresenting it, there are some people that have legitimate grievances.  I actually don’t have too much of a problem with people being against it, if they have a better proposal, but the disturbing thing about both scorecards are how many people fall into the “Will Not Commit” category.

As I said before, if a congressman can’t commit to a position on this issue, they don’t deserve my vote.  Or yours.

As an aside, Wikipedia has a relatively balanced look at the FairTax, with lots of good reference links.
