I usually just ignore all of the SPAM that comes through my InBox but for some reason this one caught my eye. It's the typical phishing email where some jerk tries to get your username and password for something like Amazon or eBay or whatever.
We all know how they display what looks like a perfectly legitimate URL with an underlying link to a place that then steals the information you enter. So, here's the link in the email that caught my eye:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/account-access-login/ref=/index
The underlying URL?
http://69.61.19.213/~justin/.amazon.com/index.html
Hello Justin! If we take off the .amazon.com/index.html portion we can get right to Justin's bio and you can go here for information on how to contact Justin.
I'm hoping that it's only a case of Justin's website getting abused by some evil phishers, but I'm not holding my breath.
