The bold and italic part below is the disclaimer.

Were you at the San Diego .NET User Group meeting a couple of nights ago? Paul Sherrif (who did an awesome Whidbey presentation) and I gave away TWO, yes *TWO* XBoxes. There was thousands of dollars worth of books and software given away (as usual), and free pizza (as usual), and superb world-class technical content (as usual), but this is the first time we've given away XBoxes. It may not be the last (I didn't win and wouldn't mind another chance :)).

If you're in the area, and you're a .NET developer or architect, you need to join us. Can't make our main meetings? No worries, we have an Architecture SIG, an ASP.NET SIG, a Beginner's SIG, an MCSD study group, and day-long conferences. We'd love to see you there! Full details at

Note: The San Diego .NET user groups disclaims any responsibility for any loss of productivity or Repetetive Strain Injury that may result from overuse of an XBox you won at our meeting. Actual use of the XBox is your sole responsibility. Just attending a meeting does not mean you will win an XBox (not attending however does guarantee you won't win). The San Diego .NET User Group reserves the right to give away as many items as it deems fit at any of our meetings, regardless of how high the value may be. Knowledge that you gain at our meetings is your's to keep and use in any manner you see fit. Caution: Attending our meetings has been proven to cause career advancement.
