Bill Evjen's Blog Code, Life and Community
I have been typing like crazy for about a month now, working on WROX's ASP.NET 2 Beta Preview. I am excited about this book. I simply LOVE ASP.NET and so for me - it is an honor to do this book on the beta preview which is coming out sometime this year. I decided early on that this book should have examples in both C# and VB as I think developers (on average) appreciate that. It worked well for ASP.NET Professional Secrets which I put out at the end of last year. I have about 16 chapters planned, but that might change +/-1. Any thoughts on what you would like to see in this book? Remember this is a Beta Preview and the audience is really people who have worked with ASP.NET 1.0/1.1 in their past as this book will not go into any details about how to do things that were once possible before. Good luck with this title! Can't wait to read it! Make sure to discuss custom controls, XML web services and HttpHandlers and any changes that may accompany those new models. The titles out now don't really mention any of them...unless no dramatic changes have been made.

Also, it would be cool to list practical examples of generics in the sample code. I trust this is going to be a fantastic book.
