Bill Evjen's Blog Code, Life and Community

INETA is going to be running the Birds of a Feather (BOFs) again this year. We did this at PDC 2003 as well and it was rather successful. It is an amazing addition to the overall event. YES, TechEd and PDC are great events, but it is one PPT presentation after another with a handful of questions at the end. The BOFs are meant to be community driven discussions/debates around a particular issue. There is no speaker - just a moderator for the topic and everyone is encouraged to participate and discuss the topic at hand - whether it is security, ASP.NET performance, Office integration or whatever you want. Do you want to be a moderator? Just go to the site and propose a topic. ALSO - if you want to participate, be sure to go to the proposal site and vote on the topics that have been suggested as the topics with the highest ratings will be the ones used. One final note --- they're free and part of the overall conference. See you there!

P.S. - INETA members: We are of course looking for BOF event volunteers. Ask myself or Dave Noderer about helping out! WANT TO HELP promote the BOFs for us? Please steal the BOF INETA logo from this page and use it on your own site/blog. Thanks!
