.NET Framework 3.0 - It's Not What People Think
On Somasegar's WebLog, there was a post about the name change from WinFx to the .NET Framework 3.0. There is also a clarifying post from Jason Zander's WebLog on the matter. Microsoft Plans an Interim Release of VS called MQ

Microsoft is planning an interim release of Visual Studio between this release of “Whidbey” and the “Orcas” release. Slatted it seems for the summer of 2006 there will be a release “focused on quality”. Read about it here:
