Lou Vega a thump to the brain

Saw an interesting article on the news - a guy who was charged with drunk driving after being given a breathalyzer test is fighting the case by demanding access to the source code for the machine that calculates the level of alcohol detected...and apparently this isn't the first such case. It's happened before in other states.

The company who makes the product in this case is saying the source code is a protected trade secret and shouldn't be disclosed but the attorney for the guy says they'll sign an NDA. So now it looks like the source code will be revealed and scrutinized for any hint of a bug.
