Technically Speaking All in on IT
Okay, I am officially impressed with the durability of USB Flash Memory sticks. I just discovered my 1GB SanDisk Cruzer Micro stick got washed and dried (60 minutes on the permanent press cycle no less) after being left in my pants pocket. I feared the worst, but after shaking it to make sure there was no more water in it, I plugged it in. Boom – it fired up just fine. All the data copied off to my laptop without a hitch (just in case). Posted on Friday, August 26, 2005 5:08 PM | Back to top

I've done that twice with Lexar Jumprive Sports. The first time, it never came back. With the second one, I'm still using it today.
