Scott Kuhl Warning: I may have no idea what I am talking about!

Rough Cuts is a program offered by O'Reilly that lets you get access to beta versions of books while they are being written.

I ordered an electronic copy of Programming .NET 3.0 through my Safari account.  The publication date is set as the 26th (four days away) and the Rough Cut only contains 3 very unfinished chapters, two of which ARE EXACTLY THE SAME.  I complained to Safari that if that is all that they are offering they might as well not even put it up.  But I guess they want there money as quickly as possible.  Customer Service e-mailed me back and told me that the content was controlled by the author and thanks for the $20.

Avoid the Rough Cut version of this book.
