Scott Kuhl Warning: I may have no idea what I am talking about!

I don't know if you have seen a commercial yet for Bravia, Sony's brand name for it's high definition LCDs. But the slogan is this:

Bravia, the world's first television for men and women, Trademark Sony.

WTF?!  What TV in the world does not match this description.  Maybe a SpongeBob or Princess television for kids, but when did TVs get made specifically for men or women?  This is just stupid.  Where does Sony get off claiming its made the world's first television for men and women.  Who the hell is in charge at Sony marketing these days?

And how about announcing Trademark Sony in bold loud tones.  It's not just some legal text at the bottom of the screen.  They actually have a movie trailer style announcer saying it.

Want to see for yourself.  It's at the beginning of the CNET Buzz Report podcast found here:

Sony, you are dumb as hell!
