Matt Warren's The Wayward WebLog led me to discover an article on the next 'Evolutionary Leap' in object oriented programming: a 21st century programming language combining the strength of C# with the "verbosity" of XML!

CSAML = The C# Application Markup Language.

Here's the link to Charles Petzold's article where he describes this fascinating new technology and all it has to offer.

I can see the idea behind this type of language, but I have trouble believing it to be the next C#. It is way too cumbersome to write all that markup.
